Pre-School Skills Development

We offer small group classes for children ages 3 to 5 years of age taught by certified teachers. Classes are designed to help advance your child in the areas of reading, writing, math and science from the most basic concepts to advanced.

The following individual classes are offered on a weekly basis:

"ABC/123" - This class focuses on preparing your child to read by familiarizing them with letters and sounds. Our teachers will start with the basics and work individually with each student to build their confidence and develop the skills they will need to be successfull readers.

"Math" - This class starts with the basics of numbers, such as counting and one-to-one correspondence. Our teachers will work with each student to work through more advanced math concepts such as addition, telling time and understanding money.

"Science" - This class introduces children to the concepts of experimentation, observation and interpretation of findings. subjects covered include anatomy, astronomy, earth science and natural science.

"Literature Based Art" - This class focuses on reading comprehension and writing skills. Our teacher uses a story read aloud to the class and reinforced with art projects and writing activities to help children develop their reading comprehension skills. The classroom activities pull in a variety of important skills, such as creative writing, handwriting and artistic creativity.

"Spanish" - Give your child the gift of learning a second language in a safe and fun environment. We currently offer small group sessions that focus on conversational language for children of all ages and levels. Our goal is to make learning a second language fun and effective!
